stop cock is located in your home. This is used to turn
off the water supply to the house. In new builds
and modern homes it is usually, although not always,
found under the kitchen sink. In older properties
it can be in the basement, or even outside under a small
metal cover. If you don't know where it is make a
point of finding it now, being able to turn the water off
instantly in case of a leak can literally save you ££'s -
once located make sure its working, it should turn
easily.
